DualCore Peptides sells research chemicals for laboratory use. Purchasers must be 21 or older and must be buying for research. This policy describes how that requirement is applied and what the verification gate does.
You must be 21 years of age or older to browse the catalog or place an order, and you must be purchasing as, or on behalf of, a qualified researcher.
The confirmation is not only about age. It also covers the research-use position: that the products will not be administered to any person or animal, and that they will be handled by trained personnel in an appropriate setting.
On arrival you are asked to confirm the requirements before the catalog is shown. Declining returns you away from the store.
The age gate appears on your first visit and your choice is then remembered for 30 days on the device you used. Clearing your browser cookies will bring it back. If you decline, you are taken away from the store and no browsing session is started.
Confirmation is a self-declaration. It is not identity verification, and we do not collect or store identity documents.
A single cookie recording that the confirmation was given, so you are not asked again on every page. It contains no personal information and is not shared.
Clearing your browser’s site data removes it and the gate will appear again.
Note that a browser set to restore the previous session may preserve a session cookie across a restart, so a session-scoped gate is not an absolute guarantee of one prompt per visit.
Confirming falsely is a breach of the Terms of Service. Where an order or message indicates the purchaser is under 21 or intends use in a person or animal, the order is cancelled and refunded and no further orders are accepted.
Twenty-one is the threshold this category has settled on, and it is the threshold DualCore applies. It is stricter than the general age of majority in most of the United States, and applying the stricter number costs nothing while removing an ambiguity.
The age requirement sits alongside a second requirement that matters more: that the purchase is for laboratory research. Someone over 21 buying for personal use is no more eligible than someone under it.
The entry gate is not the only point at which this is confirmed. Checkout carries its own confirmation covering age, research use, and acceptance of the Research Use Only Policy, and that confirmation is recorded against the order.
This is deliberate duplication. The entry gate is a browser-level confirmation anyone can click; the checkout confirmation is attached to an identifiable order and a payment record.
The gate must be operable by keyboard and readable by a screen reader, because a barrier at the front door excludes people from the entire site rather than from one page.
The gate can be completed with the keyboard alone: the confirmation controls are reachable by tab, operable by space or enter, and focus is held inside the dialog until a choice is made. This page and the gate itself must always describe the same behaviour. If the gate’s settings change, this page changes with it.
